Vidfestho is a directory + reference library on a single dark surface. Every record is verified. Every reference is reviewed before it publishes.
The site was built to solve two adjacent problems at once — finding a real local record without wading through ad walls, and finding a downloadable reference without paying for a paywalled report.
The directory keeps entries editable, searchable and filterable by category and location. The library keeps references in open formats with clear metadata: pages, file size, category, uploader.
Everything is reviewed by the desk. Nothing publishes automatically, and nothing is behind a login wall.

Verified before filed
Directory records are checked against a real contact, address or web presence before the desk publishes them. If the record can’t be verified, it stays in the queue.
Open formats only
References in the library are downloadable in open formats. No walled previews, no lead-gen forms, no “enter your email to open the file”.
One dark, focused surface
A single reading canvas — no ad-heavy sidebars, no autoplay carousels, no cookie-wall interstitial. Just the record, or just the reference.
